Today's weather was great even though it was freezing in the morning, there was some sunlight that kept me warm. I woke up very fast unlike last year, probably half because I didn't want my dad to scold me but also Michelle's slaps are really hard (believe or not). I got to the station by bus, and today for some magical reason, it wasn't late! I was also wondering why the St. George girls were wearing mufti...strange.
When I went up to Michelle at the train station I saw she was in a worried position holding a couple of notes. She saw me and waved the papers in my face. She said, "I forgot to bring my music textbook home and I have a music test TODAY!" But seemed like everything was alright 'cos Crystal had helped her the night before by taking photos of the notes from the textbook.
At music today, we had to finish a group assignment in half an hour but only had 2 of the 3 verses we were supposed to do. Anne and Amri were practising the guitar while Veronica clapped the rhythmn. Angel and I were the vocals. We were stuck on the last verse and completely forgot the tune of the 12 bar blues and so Anne ran to Stevo and asked him to help our group. We practically had a lyrics-maker's block. I was so hilarious how Anne was like forcing the guitar to make th sounds and she and Amri were playing out of time when we were getting tired of the song.
In English, we had to watch and jot down notes about the themes of the Merchant of Venice. Susanna was complaining the whole time how the actress playing Potia was so ugly. Well, to me yes she was kind of ugly ( it was the older version so thats why). One time we were so bored of the movie our whole group was reading. Jordie was reading Maximum's Ride, Susanna and I were reading Fairytail and Amri was being smart and was reading the text of the Merchant of Venice.
In maths, we received our semester 1 maths exams back. I had gotten 51 out of 60, which was 85% but the class average was 86%. I wasn't that upset because it was just ONE percent off the class average. I don't even like maths. But I also don't hate it.
Even though it was our last history class of the term, Mrs Karykides still made us finish off the Roman architecture questions. THEY WERE SO BORING. Actually not really. It was okay. Bu the best par of the lesson was when we had our farewell party for Mrs Karykides, since she was leaving our school to be a permanent teacher at Woolongong, at some school named...if I can recall back...I think it was Figtree High. Susanna said she was going to take some photos with her but I think she probably forgot.
Ahhhhh...wahhh, my day was sooo tiring, I had to deal with may thigh pains 'cos I did planks, lunge holds for a long time and I had my braces tightened yesterday so they both hurt at the same time. But I did be a good girl and washed the dishes folded the clothes. I can't even stand up properly without holding onto something stable.
That's my blog for today. Hoped you enjoyed it. Probably wasn't that interesting. This is my first real blog. Blogging is quite fun.
See you later,
